BAMM's website is simple and very organize. It only takes 2 clicks to get into the shopping cart while amzn takes forever to get to the shopping cart bc amzn has lot of junk stuff such as recommended books, review, etc. When book buyers want to purchase a book (already knew the name of the tech book for example), they don't have time to wait for a bunch of advertizing or junk stuff... unless they want to read the review. Lots of people use amzn website to read the free review then they go to BAMM to order books. Technically speaking, Bamm website is much better than amzn since bamm focus on book only. Amzn expansion to music and junk areas does not necessary enhance their profit margin
