Brother Tom : Don't forget that the chart is really inverse --- the weaker the Rand, the higher it gets (more Rands to the dollar). If the chart penetrates the 89 ema that would indicate extraordinary strength --- an event which I could not contemplate even in my wildest dreams. There is certainly nothing fundamental to indicate that such an event is likely. If, by chance, it did happen then they could close some more gold mines.
