Mr. Jim McIntosh reports
Infowave Software has been named a Microsoft certified solution provider
(MCSP). Infowave is already an active Microsoft independent software vendor
(ISV), delivering Microsoft Windows CE and Microsoft BackOffice compliant
wireless solutions to corporate America. The MCSP designation expands the
services that Infowave can offer to its corporate customers.
Infowave's wireless products
Infowave for Exchange and Infowave for the Net provide corporations with a
secure and reliable solution for extending Microsoft Exchange and intranets
to mobile personnel. Infowave's corporate customers demand complete
enterprise solutions that include installation and integration services and
the capabilities of Infowave's wireless systems integration team are now
confirmed by the MCSP designation. Infowave has also joined the exclusive
MCSP alliance program which provides access to a worldwide network of MCSPs
who can act as an additional sales channel for Infowave products.
Microsoft certified solution providers are independent organizations
working with Microsoft that include a wide range of companies such as
system integrators, custom application developers, installation and
deployment service providers, business consultants and training
organizations. MCSPs add value by offering their customers a full range of
services including intranet, and e-commerce solutions, line-of-business
applications, and client/server implementations.
"Infowave's customers have exacting standards," says Jim McIntosh,
president and chief executive officer of Infowave. "They look to the MCSP
designation as an indicator of high-quality, knowledgeable integration and
customization services. The MCSP program provides the technical training
and access to internal Microsoft resources that our integration team needs
to provide the high level of service that our enterprise customers expect."
MCSPs enjoy the highest level business relationship with Microsoft through
a variety of exclusive benefits such as early access to Microsoft products,
technical information and resources, and worldwide networking with other
MCSP organizations.
"Infowave was selected as a MCSP because of its demonstrated expertise with
Microsoft products," says Sam Jadallah, vice-president of enterprise sales
at Microsoft Corp. "With Microsoft certified professionals on staff,
Infowave is helping corporations use wireless technology to leverage IT
investments and we are pleased to have them on board as a MCSP."
"Many of our customers see value in customizing the Infowave solutions to
provide direct wireless access to legacy applications, database resources
and workflows," says Bijan Sanii, chief operating officer at Infowave. "The
MCSP program helps Infowave to provide those customers with the solutions
they need."
