DD: Interesting sideline on the rise-in-prices-at-the-pump scenario: over the weekend, I heard a news report about an investigation into why the price of gas in California is higher than other elsewhere. Didn't catch all the details. We Californians have been commenting on this for some time. Looks like the price of oil may catch up in time to justify the overcharges we've been paying for gas for months. mph
