Yes, I have heard that before and have seen it in action. It worries me to a degree.....especially if the trend of occurrance increases. One professional trader told me that they do not like electronic trading for that very reason....the bids can disappear. They prefer the open outcry and will take that over electronic any day. Interesting statement considering where the industry is eventually headed.
