For my own part, I rarely use Stops on the Mini so the swings don't trouble me very much.

I pretty much only use them when I am in the money and don't care if I am taken out. Either that, or if I am only putting on a small position because I am leaving for awhile. In those cases, my Stops are 10 to 20 points away so it would have to be rather disastrous to have them hit.

The remark by "Patrick" makes me uneasy, as the Electronic Reporting is a touch faster and so one cannot be completely certain that the spoo isn't dropping like a rock as well (if the spike is down) for a few moments.

In any event, the Small Contract is definitely far more elastic than the Large and so larger Stops would be S.O.P.
