I'm new to this thread. In fact I was thinking of starting a new thread, but it looks like what I was thinking about could be covered here. Principally, I'm interested in what strategies, investors are using to guard against a Y2K stock market meltdown.
Personally, I am still almost 100% invested in stocks, but I am looking at liquidating several of my positions over the next couple of months. Hopefully, this will be before any major panic selling over Y2K fears, then I will be looking for bargains either at the end of this year or early 2000.
Any thoughts, opinions, ideas, alternative strategies?
