That reminds me of one of my favorite responses. Back when ex-general Alexander Haig was still wandering around Washington he was known to have a taste for Cuban cigars. Someone confronted him on this and asked if he didn't consider smoking Cuban cigars as undermining the trade embargo. His response "I prefer to think of it as burning their crops"
