Don't count on what? Cyrix has had nothing, I repeat nothing to brag about in the past five years. AMD took a hit when Intel decided the didn't want any competition anymore and forced AMD to scramble to make a working 5th generation processor. That is a hard task for anyone. Once again, I haven't heard or seen anything that says M2 is a fast, dependable alternitive to the Pentium family, but I have heard that about the K6. I would like to know if Cyrix is going to release a processor that works at 233Mhz, if not they won't be able to get 300Mhz by the end of the year. Face it, Cyrix will take some profit away from Intel on the low-end PC market and thats about it. End of story.
