Signature Brands Ltd - Globe says Signature Brands to buy CD Plus.com Signature Brands Ltd SBX Shares issued 22,608,541 1999-07-05 close $0.22 Tuesday Jul 6 1999 The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday edition that Signature Brands Ltd. says CD Plus.com Inc. has acquired the Urban Sound Exchange chain of used-music stores. Urban Sound Exchange operates nine corporate locations and eight franchise locations. Over the next year, CD Plus.com Inc. will convert all its 23 store locations to include used music and will open an additional 10 to 25 locations. Signature Brands has signed a definitive agreement to buy CD Plus.com. Both companies are based in Toronto.
