The additions included in version 4.0 enhance HotFax MessageCenter's capability to function as a personal office manager for voice mail, fax, and paging.

HotFax MessageCenter 4.0 supports the inbound/outbound fax, paging, voice and data communications features of earlier versions of the product plus:

* HotFax MessageCenter Tray Application Support. Users can automatically
be ready for voice, fax and data calls without being required to launch

* Improved Send Fax User Interface. With the new Fax Merge feature, users
can save time and transmission costs by merging separate faxes together
into a single fax.
* Microsoft® Exchange/Outlook Phone Book Support. Users can now use
their existing Microsoft Exchange/Outlook phone books instead of
setting up a separate phone book in HotFax MessageCenter.
* ScanSoft TextBridge® OCR Software. HotFax MessageCenter now ships
with the ScanSoft TextBridge OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
program which converts received fax documents into text word processing
documents.
* Easy Internet Registration. You can now easily register your HotFax
MessageCenter software over the Internet during the installation
process.
