Then don't jump ship. Investing and real estate are two biz's one doesn't make hasty buy/sell decisions in...it's allllways the wrong thing at the wrong time, Nugget. Something was bound to happen, now that the big boyz are playing this game for keeps and ABX is the po'd spurned suitor! Something has to happen to generate commission income prior to the CoWs being signed. Otherwise, the longs would stay long (no commission income there!) And the inexperienced have to get the scare of their lives because they are BXM margined out the ying-yang.(lotsa commission available there!) Tis the only way to free up supply since 71% is held by institutions (severely rattle the cages of the other 28%,) such as Chorny so freely admitted he bailed on in public statements of late, and wants to blame ABX for his lack of gumption. Who is he gonna sue now? That Jakarta rag? My remaining shares are bought & paid for in profits BANKED many many moons ago. The part that sickens me is using a human's tragic death to feather one's wallet in such a hideous fashion. The Indo's are not alone in their ruthlessness and disregard for human life!!! I'm sorry for your discomfort, and that goes for the rest of you who are busy e*mailing me privately all morning! Don't know that this will help you "feel better" but, ... Nugget, and the rest of you: at least sort out your humanity and feelings of empathy, grief and anger from your portfolio fluctuations, if you can that is! Ole 49r
