Noticed the menu board in the employees center has a new twist; looks quite delicious, actually:
Cured Salmon (raw spiced) and mustard sauce (Gravad lax och gravlax sås)
Roast beef with potato sallad (rostbiff)
Barbecued spare ribs, barbecured chicken or barbecued pork chops (revbenspjäll)
Swedish meat balls with tranberry jam (köttbullar och lingonsylt)
Boiled new potatoes garnished with dill (färsk potatis med dill)
Dark sweet rye bread (Dansk råg bröd), crispy wholemeal wafers, white bread with margarine or butter
Swedish mustard
Home made black current cordial (Svart vinbärsaft), mineral waters or soft drinks
Snaps (Absolute Vodka/dry black current)
Trivia: did you know that the Swedes invented the Cream Separator, Milking Machine, Ball Bearing, Propeller, Zipper, Safety Match, Dynamite, and the Turbo Engine for Cars (like your new little German goody, Michael)?
