Despite the bad rap that Soros and others like him received, they may actually be doing the world a service by forcing reforms in target countries. I think Indonesia will now wind up a better country at the end of the day and I have no doubt that Soeharto would still be reigning had the Asian Meltdown (which was supposedly triggered by leveraged speculators) never occured.

It hurts before the joys of reform are felt.

p.s. hearing Soros & Robertson talk about their craft is very interesting. While Soros acquieses that his activity is 'immoral', Robertson is of the view of which I argue above. Soros has mental problems though, so always take his comments with a grain of salt.
