I would find it harder to fathom what would happen if Soros and company launches an attack in the US. I think there is plenty of room for attacks here.

If the attack was unsound from an economic point of view others would jump in to take the other side of the trade and Soros would eventually lose. The power of a bunch of little guys acting together is awesome. Remember when a bunch of little guys, many in poor countries like India, sold the Hunt brothers their silver in 79,80? "Down goes Frazier!"
