I second Myron's "eloquent". I agree with what you've stated, though I confess to not understanding fully the PC part. But I seldom do. I do think it's becoming acceptable in some circles to express anti-semitic sentiments. It seems to often be done in the name of "defending Christianity". That's the not-so-subtle way I've heard it expressed around here of late, the inference being "but we know they're not as good as us, and are not saved. They should be glad we tolerate them". The hatred is more incidious. There are some "crackpots" and some unstable folks, but I don't think we can lay such actions off wholly on them, unless we deem hatred and anger to be a mental illnesses. I also think that the voice of those who don't share those sentiments is louder and stronger these days.

And it's more expansive than anti-semitism. It falls to Muslims, wiccans and others. Bob Barr's crusade against the evil Satinists (apparently a term for anyone who practices Wiccan and/or includes a goddess in their religion) in the Army is another example.

Robert Aderholdt, a rep from Alabama, stated during a campaign that you couldn't be a Democrat and a Christian. Part of the point of this was the the good people of Alabama shouldn't elect a non-Christian. He's the one that sponsored the Ten Commandment addition to the bill that passed recently.
