Jorj, One of my favorite bands is done. Mark Sandman--vocals, 2 string bass, songwriter---died on stage before Midnight on July 3, 1999 at age 46. I don't know if any of you ever saw Morphine, but they f*ckin' rocked. 'Cure For Pain' is one of my favorite albums. They were scheduled to play here in Austin on July 28-29.

"Someday.. there'll be a Cure for Pain,
that's the day I'll throw my drugs away.."---Mark Sandman---

"On my dying day, will I be able to say that I'm finally seeing things all your way"

In mourning and severely bummed,
