Seriously, the meaning of is or what is has been debated in theological circles and philosophical circles throughout the ages. I have no problem with that, it is definitely a worthy course of action. I intend to continually search for truth, purpose, and meaning as a natural course in life. No big deal really. On the other hand, when words are used in a particular context they carry a common rational sensibility. If not, we as a society lose our ability to carry on with civility. When our elite and powerful members are able to dictate the meaningless to over rule the common and self evident then we have no basis for negotiating in a civil way. In essence, we no course except to accept conditions as they are, becoming lambs to the process or we become rebellious to authority. Nice economy we're having today, don't you agree.
