MM, HO HO HO to you. One critical difference between now and 1987 was in 87 the world economy was growing now we have only the US consumer spending supported by dissaving, ever increasing debt and da wealth effect of the great bubble in history. Another ting is the increased proliferation of derivatives -they tend to amplify moves in the market so far it has been up one mythical day it will be down. tough love delayed is tough love intensified.
