In the P-PCs/HH, STB low-end markets.

Probably about 5 players in the (very) low-end space.

Another company announced being the "first" to provide support for both chips (I posted this on the Intel thread awhile ago.)

(I threw the eMachines (i.e. low-end PC) comment in as a wild card question based upon some of their thinking in a public talk. Having said that, 30% of the entire low-end PC market consists of small firms who make their boxes (eMachines started out this way), who may not be too interested in doubling their costs by going to go 2nd source, i.e. two simultaneous sources since pricing schedules increase maybe 20% to 40% when volume is halved.)

I know I was surprised too when I started reading about products which listed support for only one processor (the rule usually being: always have a 2nd source.) From this sample pool, the single source supplier is generally Intel or Hitachi.
