chalu2, in all fairness, shouldn't your exceptions have included Jimmy Carter? Whatever you thought of him as president, he seems to be a person who really does care about others. He could be out on the golf course instead of working with habitat for humanity. I think the fact that a person does care about others, regardless of party affiliation, could hinder their prospects as a "Politician".
