<<<it oughtn't to be turning colors without smashing. It might be worth a looksie.>>>

I know. It's a direct Violation of Toe Laws. Smorning, I was thinking "GANGRENE!" I don't know how you get it. But I wear steel-toad boots, and they don't smash. Period. I dropped a steel beam off a crane on them once. (I think, I think, no one here is surprised.)

So MJ just came in and said, "Look up Brown Recluse spider again on the web." We have em, you know. All over the place. They took a BIG chunk out of Norton's leg. Because I put on new boots, because I couldn't find my regular ones, he could ~ no, she could ~ have been living in there. Boot Hillton.

You could lose a toe to them, easy.

But, there's some relief, in knowing, that if someone says "I wouldn't touch a Brown Recluse spider with my big toe" I can say, "Been there."

Stuff happens to me. A lot of stuff. Stuffed full.

Stuffed salmon rushdie.
