Hi Claude and everybody else . I HAVE A QUESTION!

How come that a stock (like MAN last night) can close at a price and then next morning at a lower price? In other words, how come that Man closed at 8.50 last night and opened at 6.75 after being halted?
I am asking because my broker sold a number of my shares after1 minute MAN started trading. Is this normal or was I f..ked?

THANKS
CIAO AND CHEERS ANNA
