Richard,

How do you figure that soldiers have no role in police matters regarding the integrity of our borders??

Very well armed drug smugglers know our southern border is a sieve. They outgun the border patrolmen and aren't afraid of shooting to kill.

Military units HAVE EVERY PURPOSE AND RIGHT to protect the sanctity of our borders against whatever threat. Those marines were on a patrol. They were hunkered down in a hide/observation site led, I believe, by an E-5 sergeant. This is hardly stuff of world conspiracy.

They claim they came under fire, either mistakenly or deliberately, by the kid. They returned fire and killed him. I'm sure none of them felt any pleasure in the act, but they didn't who or why they were being fired at.

That is hardly cold-blooded murder, my man.

Btw, have you ever served in the military? I was in the Army and NEVER HAVE I MET ANYONE who would have sought to deliberately murder a civilian who posed no threat to them.

Regards,

Ron
