Speaking of all the books that fail to cover the topic
of exits, that was the assessment of the bookstore
shelves from Gary Smith at thestreet.com in an article at
the end of May. He basically said he noticed there were
scads of books on entry patterns but nothing on exits. Of
course he has also strongly (and wrongly) commented that
WadeCook's book of eleven simple strategies for beginners
never mentioned risks, which was completely false, so I
think he has a writer's ego and has a hard time
acknowledging peers whose reading audiences outnumber
his.

That said, his articles from the last week of May on the
strategy and importance of money management are
excellent. I would post them here but you know how anal
thestreet.com is about their copyrights. For more useful
bits on the important tools of money management I really
liked the article on "equity curves" at
tigerinvestor.com (by Palo alto trader) and
the article on risk/reward ratios at
intelligentspeculator.com

yamner.com has articles (in their "library") on "the Business of Trading" and hedging risk that should be internalized by anyone wanting to go pro, in my book.

I can't think of any respected writers who advise going
home flat every night either, but there must be one we
are overlooking?...
