WEST CHESTER, Pa., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Let the games begin. EBWorld.com, the Internet division of Electronics Boutique (Nasdaq: ELBO - news), has signed an agreement with CNET'S Gamecenter.com (http://www.gamecenter.com) as the primary sponsor of the portal's ''Sneak Peeks'' section. EBWorld.com (http://www.ebworld.com), as a ''preferred partner,'' has secured the rights to all banner advertising opportunities in the new release video game-focused section and has secured a significant advertising presence on the ''Video Games'' section.

The online retailer EBWorld.com, which offers video and PC games as well as office, educational and children's software, quadrupled e-commerce sales to more than $1.5 million during the first quarter of 1999 and is on track to eclipse $16 million by the end of the year.
