Not a significant change in earnings from what I can tell. The biggest news, though, is the spin-off of their interest in the production aspect of PET radiopharmaceuticals to another company. The sale was basically at their cost so it actually adds income back, negating the previous expense. Check out Individual Investor at individualinvestor.com for their comments - they recommend selling as this was their main reason for recommending the company and potentially an important operation for future earnings. However, I think Syncor knows the business and I believe they realize broadening the market for PET right now is more important than maintaining exclusive control over the production aspect. They will still have the lion share of the market for distribution once it becomes more commercially feasible.
