You said a lot more than one thing but, we all do that so, no foul.
1) There is nothing wrong with attaining wealth and influence if, it is done in a fair way but, no one group, including the moguls, should be able to completely influence an election. Admittedly, it has happened but, the individual voters have allowed it to happen, and sometimes, their power has not worked.
2)GW is not quite the "bue blood" you may think. His dad left the silver spoon back east and earned his own. GW did the same thing. Yes, his father's name was a plus but, he actually worked for a living.
3) I don't know about his ties with the deep south but, Texas is not the deep south. Just had to get that one in there.
4) The damage tv has done to our political process is a true tragedy.
