truedog, the problem is that you guys are a bunch of middle age men atoneing for your youth with a bunch of empty words. Well big deal anybody can do that. Its like somebody that steals excessively, becomes rich, and later says "yeah I shouldn't have stolen - now, don't anybody else do it, I'm going out to the pool now".
If you want to atone for your so-called murderous acts, I propose you volunteer your teenage sons for adoption of a crack baby. And while you are at it how about volunteering to pay for the medical care of some of these pregnant women in the inner city too.
Regarding my situation, or any relatives of mine, I am not bitter about anything. I do react with angst when people choose to speak for me, which often happens, as in "adopted people are pro-life because otherwise they wouldn't exist". The guy running for congress in our state did that, as some sort of excuse for being pro-life... he was adopted therefore that excused it, (he thought - rofl, a landslide loss). |
