I think people will get bored with the market after they realize its not making them any more money and they want to spend their time on better things. That includes most amateurs and many conservative investors as well who want more security. Lack of upside potential is apparent in the market these days because a bubble this size needs a humongous amount of money to get significantly bigger, and that kind of money doesn't seem to be available.
