(pardon me if any of this was discussed already & I missed it, haven't been around enough lately to catch up on all posts).
Howzabout some Chartered Cruise thru the Islands for The Whole Go2Netrillionaires Ship Of Fools? So we sleep on the boat for a few days, get on get off at different islands. How many people do you think would wind up actually going? Maybe 50 tops counting guests is my guesstimate, but who really knows it's 6 months away. I'm guessing such a thing would be possible and maybe even for a fairly reasonable price for enough but not too many people, as well. I know they do Big Windjammers (ooooooh!) for group hire through Oceania, maybe they go around the Hawaiian Islands, too.
If you folks think it's interesting I could look into that from here and see what's available. It sure would cut down on (just can't resist saying it LOL) browser logistical problematics! Plus a cruise would be so beautiful and carefree, no hassle with getting to airports/copters, and no one would need rent cars & drive except if they wanted to during the day. So, let me know if it strikes a chord, I could check into it and make some phone calls.
But First Things First - Hey Locals, are OMO's sailing conditions ok for that in January? If not, Fuggeddabouddit.
I've got a thought about publicity too....codeword Anonymous. Sure we're cool with each other or wouldn't consider meeting face to face....even so, the whole thing COULD be arranged to pay an agent independently so folks who'd wish to stay anonymous with their screennames could do so, no problema. But what's most important IMHO - For Sure I Would Not want to see my face and/or name in any pr associated with details of financial doings! This privacy thing is an issue especially lately; it's best such topics are considered now.
If it's really gonna happen, planning with a crows nest view to the horizon is doubleplusgood, dontchathink?
