i believe that Viral marketing is the act of giving out your technology for free..... like a shock wave and developing your market from their.......

I believe its sort of like a company giving out free gift certificates in order for people to not only visit their site but spend money.....

on your second link....this was interesting...."To be a successful entrepreneur, you don't need to be a genius at spotting great business opportunities. What you do need is a capacity for discipline and focus "..........

I read that statement over 3 times.....It reminds me of the saying that to be successful it takes 99% perspiration.......so true, so true........

I recently came across a problem.....I hired a guy to do my business plan....he agreed to do it.....we agreed on terms...etc etc....then 1 week later he came back and said....I cant do what you want, and im not looking for more money....its just that i underestimated the amount of time it would take to complete.......8 hours a day for 30 days.....I couldnt even talk the guy into a better compensation program.....what kills me is that the guy was a former exec. from a publicly traded company and knew the upside of doing a good job was the long term employment with my firm.......very disappointed.....thats when i put my crisis team together (3 people) and said heres the story....within hours we had 3 alternatives.....one of which ended up costing us about $2500 less for the same job.....It has yet to be determined if that was money well saved.....nevertheless..i went that route as opposed to doing it ourselves./.......

I guess the lesson to be learned is that dont try and do everything yourself.....ask others for a hand, you will be surprised as how the end result comes out and how if given the opportunity, your employees can be of a valuable asset.......

would love your thoughts....
