PowerPC's future?"

If your business is to sell computers then you would like to sell one that the customer can run (as transparently as possible) any old piece of software. *IF* MacTel works well then this would greatly ease the transition from WinTel by offering a low cost migration. Thus, an enterprising company like Power might be able to sell boxes that do it all. Also, windows emulation with Rhapsody is allegedly quite good so PowerPcs should work both ways as well.
Remember, that if only 5% of the WinTel boxes install Rhapsody this would increase the base by 50% over just the installed Mac base. This would make Apple and its developers quite happy. For this strategy to work only a small percentage of WinTel has to be won over at the begining.
