Hey chris, let's not use the word 'companies' loosely. usually a company produces, services or sells something, reports on it, has revenues and when publically traded all sorts of disclosures, but heck who needs that stuff when it's 6 for 1! And to top all the stock hasn't reflected the loss of capital from the spinoffs. so the new issues are free... execpt your brokerage commission will likley exceed your principal, oh well.
