women seem to be able to hold grudges 10 to 100 times longer than men.

JIM!!!! I am stunned. How can you say that???? I very seldom get angry and I never hold a grudge. I have a very short-term memory and I don't believe in letting silly little slights fester.
For example, I vaguely recall one night-
I think it was around November 3, 1997 at 9;15 pm-
when you said something- of course I don't remember exactly what-to me that I COULD have taken seriously and gotten my feelings very hurt over- but it would have been silly to let such a little thing bother me, I knew you were probably just tired
or drinking , or on drugs, or hadn't taken your meds, or maybe you just hadn't gotten any for a while, but who could blame your poor wife for that,
I'm sure you didn't MEAN to be nasty to me. You don't remember? Well, I hardly do either, it was such a very small thing-
I probably could recite the post verbatim, slimeball
and I haven't thought about it in months-
even though it was a really nasty and shitty thing to say,
and I forgave you immediately.
you insolent, sarcastic horrible SOB.
So there, dear Jim, women are fully as capable of forgetting these little verbal mishaps as men. AS you can see, I have certainly put that tiny hurt behind me.
