And after I had spilled my seven-year-old guts out in a steaming pile in front of all of you and admitted that Little Mary once CHEATED.
ANd then vulnerably, pitifully, told how she took some small comfort from being able to spell THAT WORD-standing there with her Mickey Mouse ears on her head. And then Coby cruelly says it wasn't good enough to make the grade with the GT kids nowadays, stripping me of any last vestige of pride in my second grade achievements.
Boy, with you guys around, who needed algebra.
