To John: If the PC supplants the TV as the primary "appliance" in the home, the interesting point is what functions will this primary appliance serve? Will it be a "thin client" linked to "fat servers" on the internet or elsewhere in caches or server farms, or a "fat client" with its progams on the desktop?

Also if a major link to the internet is a handheld appliance (a data capable wireless "phone") which has a "docking station" at home, what will this docking station consist of?

These evolutions should provide fertile ground for gorillas (maybe) and/or kings and princes (more probable perhaps) as investment opportunities.
