Also I know two jews that post on this thread that refuse to call them selves Christian. They want to be called Messianic Jews. What do you think about that? I don't think it's very important. I think why should anyone care about a semantic issue unless they are looking for an excuse to find fault? The word Christian wasn't adopted for some time after the church got started. I suspect they are seeking to hold on to their Jewish identity while still adopting a religion that has traditionally been hostile to their people. Where do you stand spiritually? Are you a Jew defending your religion Nope. or a Christian defending a Jewish religion? Am I Christian? - sometimes yes, sometimes no. For your purposes, the answer is NO. Course this is probably a bad time to ask me. After I reflect a little, I'll probably decide I am and you're not! Defending a Jewish religion. Nah, it just gets under my skin when I see people picked on. I've responded when the target was Jews, Indians, Americans, blacks, or just weird-looking kids back when I was in school, etc. It doesn't matter. It's all just the same damn thing. Bruce
