<<<Star Wars Episode I was not a flop, but it was not NEARLY as big as the makers had thought it would be. . . .>>>

Nor was it near as big as I personally thought it would be. Very surprised, especially since I LOVED it, and am not really a star wars fan... Didn't see two of the original three until after they were re-released in theaters.

One thing to consider regarding star wars related toy sales... I don't interact with very many adolescents these days, but even if it is 'star wars' merchandise, aren't these types of toys considered 'boring' relative to all the other neat stuff out there? In other words, did you check to see how well star wars gaming products are selling? Dollar to doughnuts that this type of stuff is moving a lot faster than action figures are.
