Sean, I haven't heard much lately about the PENCE deal. From what I understood MBI had to put their money in first ($500,000) and then, and only then, PENCE would match MBI's investment if the research looked promising. It looks like the Man was working on one of MBI's new drugs. To get that type of prestigious award means the results were worth the effort! My thoughts are that MBI is still trying to iron out a deal with a major pharma. Doing a deal with mutual funds would get MBI the money they need to continue their drug development work BUT I think they need a major partner with market clout now, not tomorrow. This may help explain the sound of silence we've been hearing from MBI these last few months. They need money soon and perhaps they're holding off taking the private money hoping to make the "Deal" with a major pharma partner. Whatever the outcome, I'm staying in the game. I am happy where I'm at with MBI these days. I have a lot of faith in MBI's concept and do know their research is continuing even if they're not giving out much news to keep our hopes up. Good luck to all. Oh, by the way, is anyone coming to Winnipeg, MB. for the XIII Pan Am Games? It's going to be a very BIG party! Carter B.
