And after several days of using the beta, I despise running into a message link that takes me back to the poorly designed old site. The easter-egg colors there are ugly. The message is lost in a sea of undifferentiated gunk. It probably worked well in its day. Now it looks like what it is -- ancient (by web standards) and poorly thought out. I just worry that, with all the loudly-proclaimed but nonetheless egregious advice they're getting through this beta process, we'll end up with an equally kludgy and unattractive site when the new one is rolled out.
