I hear supporting multiple platforms is an issue. I think it is just a matter of obtaining more resources which takes time. Also, most of the support issues are not related directly to Livelink, but are Oracle and Sybase along with Windows NT and Unix operating system issues. The support they have given QUALCOMM has been excellent.

The fact that they are developing a group of resellers and consultants will go a long way toawards addressing the support issues. As these groups become more familiar with the environment, the reliance on Open Text will decrease. QUALCOMM has a dedicated consultant that handles 90% of all issues that come up. He doesn't hesitate to come onsite to make customizations or fix problems.

As for sales expenses, I heard that the corporate office is really clamping down on unncecessary expenses and that this should result in profitability much sooner than analysts expect.
