How about:
- Q sells handset to Siemens for a boatload of eurobucks
- Q buys Palm division from (struggling) COMS
(rumoured to be up for sale to the right bidder)
- Q stock goes to $305 by the turn of the millenium

(Okay, I'll settle for just #3.)

IMHO (unlettered) opinion, I'd assume a JV is much more likely than an outright sale. But I bow to the collective wisdom of the SI elders on this one.
