I don't think HDG are behind Foran, Hugh unless it's something very recent. I've followed Foran closely for some time and started a thread on S.I. for it but there was no interest. The Stockhouse thread has been reasonably active with a few knowledgeable contributors.
As you say, however, there is a similarity between Foran and Millstream in the nature and type of the deposits. If you check some of the sections at www.foranmining.com (MacIIvenna property) you'll notice the similarity with Millstreams shown at www.millstreammines.com for the Potter property. Both are VMS deposits, similar angle of dip, etc. However, Millstream's property is much further along for development with an existing 3 compartment shaft and associated infrastructure. They also fully own their property while Foran does not.
FWIW of the two, I think Millstream will prove the better overall bet although both have tremendous potential. What surprises me is that both have received so little attention. Foran has been pulling some excellent holes for several months and the new, recently discovered shallow zone is a bonus. However, their stock only became active and doubled within the past couple of weeks. Meanwhile, well funded Millstream with a substantial exploration program and now drilling underway has been dormant in the market. I think it's a bargain and have been buying. My hunch is that within a few days, if not hours, we'll see Millstream start to move.
