Question: Will the current rebound/uptrend in semi's be as strong as
the 1994-95 upturn?
Seems to me the 94-95 boom was based on consumer PCs and this boom
is based less on PCs and more on (internet) servers, which is not as
mass a market. Margins on PCs have fallen. Will the increase in
server sales, with their higher margin, offset the decrease in PC
margins? Can't forget telecomm influence either.
I'm just trying to determine the extent and duration of the current
trends.
Thanks
