This is a very interesting topic. I think another approach to trying it on today's dead cats, would be to get a list of dead cats for the past 365 days along with daily quotes for the cats at the time they died and bounced. Then you can crunch the numbers and see which approach will yield the biggest profits. www.nasdaq.com list the most active each day, but do you know where we can get an archive of the most active for the past year ? Also, at nasdaq, you can then get a detailed quote of each cat, click on the graph to get table data, download load it and try different variations of this approach! What do you think?
