Dragged my weary carcass into CompUSA yesterday... they have iConferences!! Right there on the shelf... the bottom shelf, still in Voice Recognition, right next to TalkNPlay.

They had two iConferences out, at $44.95, and the eight TalkNPlay's had mysteriously diminished to three TalkNPlay's.

It's possible that after three months of only two sales total, they suddenly sold five copies just in time to make room for iConference; OR CompUSA decided not to give TMSR's software any additional shelf space and pulled TalkNPlay's to make room. I would suppose they also shipped them back to their distributor for a refund, but I have no way of telling that.

So anyway, the upshot is that there on the bottom shelf are two iConferences, and three TalkNPlay's.

Not much of the hardware seems to have moved in the two weeks since I've been there....

In any case, if my favorite scenario that TalkNPlay's were traded for iConferences is true, TMSR's sell-in for iConference is going to be very small.

FWIW,

-- Pete
