HB; Something else came back to me ; the DCB ,( dead cat bounce ) 2 and 3 yrs ago I use to focus on playing fast trades on DCBs , take today we had WMI SE NEON & SK all down very hard on the open. What I'm leading up to is when I played the DCBs I came to notice after a time they didn't work, and then figured out they were only good plays in a BULL market. So for what it's worth an indication if the Bull is still with us is if the DCBs really bounce or not. So far today they seem OK , I just wasn't fast enough to catch them as they opened. When one plays DCBs they need to specialize and be fast, and remember they can burn you in a market down trend. They seem to work good if the over all market is bullish, and can be an early warning when the market gets un-bullish as when they stopped paying off for me it wasn't long that the market sold off. DCBs are best played in and out fast, but my seat of pants sort of says if in three days the marjority of them go on down the market is bearish, or if in three days they are up some the market is bullish. I'm talking of stocks that really get hammerd; 25% to 50% or more in one single clip. SK may not fit it's border line, but WMI sure does, had I been fast I would have bid her at 34, and already be out. Will she get back and hold 37 or better in three days ? Jim
