Do you remember when we WANTED a reason to hold JTWO on its 900k float? They own the rights to National Lampoon. . . but not really anything else. . . .so it was hard to justify tying up the dough.

But sooner or later these stocks with floats under 1 mil will surprise everyone and rocket on the tiniest news . . . especially after long periods of flatline. . . . due to the gradual accumulation that occurs naturally.

So there goes another. . .

And that is why I buy stocks with low floats. . .sometimes for no other reason than its having a low float.

To all. . . .KTEL had 500k float when it first rocketed skyward. . .company quickly announced stock splits when the price was high. . . very smart. SIEB had 600k float when it went to 70. BAMM was around a million, if I recall. Picking out the low floaters ahead of time is a little explored timing position that inevitably gets exploited by one scammy operation or another.. . . so like any good capitalist, we tag along.

But be careful trying to short such a stock. . . just when you think you have a 4 dollar stock nicely boxed in at 13 . . it races to 35 . . then to 70 and your phone is ringing. . . ."it's your broker again."
