NASA news is very big. Government contracts, although not high margin, usually, attract new business and visibility. This is the limelight QTEK needs to continue to attract new investors. Here's the story, for those who have not seen it:

QUINTEK WINS NASA CONTRACT
CAMARILLO, Calif., Jul 7, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Quintek Technologies Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: QTEK) a leading information technology and services firm, today announced that it has been
awarded a contract to supply NASA Glenn Research Center with a laser driven Film-Based Archival and
Retrieval system. The new system is compliant with NASA's requirement to record digital drawings on
film for the purpose of archiving and distributing information. The Quintek system will allow NASA to
enhance their operational and data retention capabilities, while eliminating outdated photographic
equipment, chemical solutions, related maintenance services, and labor intensive processing. Quintek's
patented technology provides the only means available todayfor producing aperture cards, which hold
the film, directly from digital files using a chemical-free process. Since 1941, NASA Glenn Research
Center has been conducting research and technology programs critical to the nation's aeronautics and
space industries. Today, Glenn Research Center is NASA's leader in aircraft propulsion, space power,
commercial communications, and the microgravity science disciplines of fluid physics and combustion
science. Quintek supplies environmentally friendly equipment, software, media, and services for
converting digital information into archival media foroff-site backup and long-term storage. Off-site
backup insures against the lossof digital information due to catastrophic events. Long-term storage
media insures against the loss of digital information due to computer virus, technology obsolescence,
year 2000 rollover, equipment failure, media degradation, change in formatting standards, and
software incompatibility. Quintek is headquartered in Camarillo, California, with Sales and Marketing

and Engineering & Field support based in Montpelier, Idaho. Existing customers include TRW, Caltrans,
